And to let everybody knows the beauty within koi's esp. flowerhorn. Hopefully we can have a meeting this week or next week para maplastar na ni, mga equipments, stands, extra aquariums and other set-up equipments. you think???

I do propose a meeting within this week, maybe Saturday (July 21, 2012) at Iznart (house of Mr. Kirsky Villaruz, 3rd floor Universal Hardware) so that we can set all things already. From tanks, tank stands, OHF's, lights and heaters. So far we have 4 tank stands available.

With regards to Koi's, it will be the group of Mr. Jerry Lamis who is interested to join the exhibit.

Update for the exhibit:

EPGOP (Exotic Pet Group of Panay), Iloilo Koi Club and a close friend of Sir kev will be joining the exhibit for bettas. I'm still trying to get in touch with Sir Birdman if he is available to exhibit some of his collections for birds.

As what has been decided, only 24 tanks will be needed for flowerhorns and strictly for flowerhorns only. This should also be uniform sized tanks with the dimension of 36 x 18 x 18 inches. If there will be added tropical fishes, these should be separated in a different tank size and stand.


PS: These are the protocols given by SM City Iloilo for the exhibit.

Para sa mga hindi naka attend ng meeting, napag-usapan po ng lahat ng clubs specifically The Iloilo Koi Club, EPGOP, EXPOS and IFS na tuloy na tuloy na ito talaga.

For exotic groups, EXPOS will be facing the area going to Quantum and EPGOP will be facing the area going to the Supermarket. Local species are not allowed and any exotic pet beyond LVL 2 is not allowed as well. Each group should have specified persons watching their own exhibit. If there would be people that would like to take pictures with the exotic pets, they should also be assisted of any specified member for both exotic clubs.

Doc, the President of IKC informed us that they will be having 3 holes (DIY trapal pond) for the koi exhibit. Kasama din dito sa koi exhibit will be bonsai's surrounding their "trapal pond". Besides from koi's, they will also be showcasing some goldfishes.

For IFS, as what was planned and decided only 24 tanks and 4 stands will be used for mainly flowerhorns. Designated persons to exhibit their FH are:

and who so ever you know that would like to have their FH exhibited, kindly inform me ASAP. Each exhibitor are also to bring their own OHF, heater and tank lights. John from SM City gave another adjustment for the exhibit. A certain group/company paid SM to take hold of the entire Activity Center on Aug 6-11. Our target date now for the exhibit is on Sept 3-7 (to double check ko pa).
